• Public speaking. I used to be afraid to get up and speak in front of groups of people. After more than a dozen years of working alone at home, however, I now have a hard time shutting up when I leave the house, and the more people willing to listen to me, the better. I was on the faculty of the Society of American Travel Writers Institute for Travel Writers and Photographers for several years; participated as a panelist at the Public Relations Society of America meeting held in Tucson; and, most recently, spoke at the Arizona Media Marketplace in Scottsdale.
• Coaching. Struggling with your writing? I’ll help you find your voice and discover which writing methods work best for you, as well as teach you how revise your own work.
• Personal travel consulting. Tell me what types of things you like to see and do when you travel, where you like to stay and eat; I’ll recommend destinations,
  activities, lodgings, and restaurants in Arizona, Mexico, Austin, and San Antonio, my main areas of travel expertise.
